Rawlings Should Spare Ghanaians His June 4th Hallucinations....

There is nothing worth celebrating on June 4th. It's the greatest political tragedy to have ever befell Ghana. JERRY RAWLINGS, the self acclaimed prophet of God, who was ordained and sent from heaven by God to pursue his self styled " house cleaning" exercise, killed innocent men without given them any fair and proper trial.

Under no circumstance can people be SLAUGHTERED based on mere perceived corruption issues. It's been 35 years since JERRY RAWLINGS carried out his monstrous act of killing national leaders who rose to power through the very same means RAWLINGS himself used in ascending to power, COUP D' ETAT.

To put it on record, the very highest form of corruption took place in Ghana under the reign of Rawlings from 31st December 1981 to 31st December to 2000. Himself and his government appointees looted Ghana to it's knees till it became a highly indebted poor country (HIPC NATION) Per the very words of Jerry Rawlings, he had no money for common " gari and beans. " He was so broke that he had no furniture set in his room and had to result to taking the seats of an abandoned
military aircraft to fill his room as furniture.

After leaving office, he had built for himself mansions at Adjirigano and Sogakofe. All his children schooled in the best universities abroad. His wife, Nana Konadu bought the Nsawam cannery through corrupt and fraudulent means.

No doubt, Rawllings is now worth millions of dollars all obtained from the national purse. Rawlings has robbed the good people of Ghana to enrich himself and family. He has no moral right to disturb the nation with his anti- corruption campaign till he surrenders his stolen billions and renders an apology to the families of Afrifa, Acheampong and Akuffo for how he cruelly murdered these statesmen. June 4th was an indiscipline revolt by a syndicate of indiscipline soldiers.

It is and has been the major source of Ghana's economic challenges. The last time l met chairman Rawlings was at the Great Hall of KNUST during the signing of the peace pact by the presidential candidates before the 2012 general elections. His pot belly l saw remembers me of how civil servants were arrested and jailed during the monstrous days of Jerry Rawlings just for having a pot belly. Civil servants then with pot bellies were perceived as corrupt and haven't enriched their bellies with the tax payers money.

Even people with two toilets, houses and cars were all perceived as corrupt during Jerry Rawlings'
regime. They were arrested, beaten by soldiers and thrown into jail without any proper trial. My late grandfather narrated how a friend of his had to quickly result to using laxatives to lose some content of his belly to avoid being thrown into jail. In those days, even having a pot belly meant corruption and the punishment, serious military brutality coupled with jail terms. So must Jerry Rawlings be regarded
as corrupt and thrown into jail now that he also possesses a POT BELLY?

Posterity will judge us all. Traders and businessmen became targets for military men. They were beaten, forced to reduce their prices and run at a loss. Their goods were seized, looted, destroyed, burnt and some given to charity without their consent. These were the atrocities Ghanaians suffered
under Rawlings' June 4th military uprising.

It brought gross indiscipline into the military and Ghanaian youth. Genuinely speaking, there is nothing good about the June 4th military uprising. The only person who benefited was Jerry Rawlings and his cadres who carried their atrocities and enriched themselves leaving Dr Hilla Limann a bankrupt economy.

The children of the murdered soldiers continue to weep on every June 4th. The day their fathers were tied to barrels and shot at close range under the full glare of the public. Yet Jerry Rawlings has no remorse and shame for his cruel bloodshed of innocent statesmen.

He continues celebrating this event every year bringing more pain to the memories of the children and families of Afrifa, Acheampong, Afrifa and other great soldiers who were brutally murdered due to Jerry Rawlings' hallucination of a "house cleaning exercise. "

Ghanaians are simply tired of Jerry Rawlings and his holier than thou attitude. He pretends to be more catholic than the Pope. Jerry Rawlings is not the only wise man in Ghana, he should spare us his June 4th hallucinations.

A nation and continent calls for duty now!!!!
