Ghanaian players based in South Africa are planning to visit the home-based Black Stars team during the CHAN tournament.

The visit is primarily to inspire and share ideas with the players during the tournament being hosted by South Africa.

Several Ghanaian players play professional football in South Africa.

Some of them – notably Fatau Dauda, Rashid Sumaila and Awal Mohammed – are members of the current Black Stars team that have qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The Ghanaian players also plan making a presentation to the CHAN team form their own individual contributions.

“The Ghanaian players based in South African intend going to visit the CHAN team in their camp,” Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda told Metro FM.

“We are yet to gather ourselves for the visit which definitely we cannot go empty handed.”

The Ghana team will be based in Bloemfontein throughout the group stage of the CHAN tournament.

The home-based Black Stars team will commence its campaign on Monday with their first Group C game against Congo.

Ghana will also face Libya and Ethiopia in the subsequent group games.
