Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry visits Ghana

Accra, Sept. 12, GNA - Mr David Frost, Mission Leader of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and representatives of 25 British companies would visit Ghana from September 18 to September 24.

The Mission, which would be the 15th visit and the largest mission ever to Ghana, is expected to build on the relationship developed with Ghanaian companies over the years, make new contacts and forge new partnerships.

It is also to create a wide range of business opportunities that would include consultancy service for higher education centres, woodworking and machinery tooling; mounted and portable fire pumps, educational and scientific equipments, laboratory, rural development consultancy services, high and low voltage electrical transformers. A statement from the British High Commission said the Mission would look for local representatives, importers, retailers, qualified distributors or agents.

Some of the members would research the markets for the first time while others would create awareness of their products and build on existing contacts in both the government and private sectors and make new contacts.

Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest chamber of commerce in the UK, in association with its local, region and national partners would provide a single source of business advice and support and would provide representation for all local businesses of every size and in every sector.
