Vice President John Mahama has been sharing with a team of Latin American and African ministers, Ghana's experience in working to fight poverty and also funding pro-poor social policies.
This was at the 5th Ministerial Forum on Development taking place in Brasilia, Brazil.
It is organised by the UNDP with the support of the Brazilian and Spanish governments.
Mr. Mahama's notes for the presentation is attached, but the discussions centred broadly on how the policies were developed, during which he dilated largely on the development plan in operation, the Ghana Shared Growth Development Agenda (GSGDA, 2010 – 2013) which is aimed at sustaining growth and ensuring equity.
