Ashaley Botwe Is Thirsty

Dear Editor, The water problem at Ashaley Botwe, a suburb of Accra, is worrying.

Sometimes, people think that those living in Accra do not have problems with water.

Ever since my parents settled at Botwe, we have hardly had water flowing through our taps, even though we continue to get promises that the taps will flow.

Sometime ago, some stores were demolished to pave the way for the laying of pipe lines. Now the lines have been laid, but we are yet to get water.

I want the Ghana Water Company to know that the lack of water in Botwe is affecting everything we do badly, especially, those of us in school.

We spend a greater part of our time searching for water instead of studying. I am, therefore, appealing to the company to supply us with water just like other parts of the city.
