Mahama Knows NDC Is Smack Behind Tema-Mpakadan Railroad Sabotage

She was smack on target, when my wife exploded in anger over the recent swift conviction and the jailing of the commercial truck driver who, reportedly, deliberately left his vehicle athwart the national-development capstone that is the Tema-Mpakadan railroad and caused the “railroading” collision of a newly imported train by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia Administration that was on a test run in her late father's hometown of Abutia, in the Volta Region (See “How can you conduct a test run on a new railway line without a track inspection— Mahama slams govt” Modernghana.com 4/20/24).

No, my wife was peeved or wracked with volcanic conniption because the alleged criminal convict, a Mr. Abel Dzidotor, had been so swiftly arrested and convicted for what clearly amounted to treasonous nation wrecking. Rather, she was infuriated more because she believed that the sentencing of Mr. Dzidotor to a diddly 6-month jail term did not square up with the magnitude of the heinous crime committed. In other words, it was an inexcusable insult to the intelligence of the general Ghanaian public. A veritable travesty of justice.

“Some hungry people just steal goats, sheep and a few tubers of yam and plantains and go to prison for 10 years. But here we are with somebody who clearly appears to have deliberately sabotaged the national development efforts of the Government being, literally, given a slap on the wrist. What sort of justice is this?” For Yours Truly, though, it was not this clearly morally insulting tap-on-the-wrist of the truck owner and/or driver that got my horse or, rather, gored my horse, whatever the appropriate idiomatic characterization of this most heinous act of wanton depravity and criminality may be.

Rather, it was the unspeakably outrageous attempt by the twice-defeated, one-term former President John “European Airbus Payola” Dramani Mahama to make a clearly meanspirited political capital out of a potent act of felonious criminality of which he and his widely known and remarked nation-wrecking associates of the power-hungry leadership of the country’s main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) may very well have contracted and fully paid for like the Kumasi Kidnapping of the Three Young, Canadian White-Women NGO Volunteers several years ago.

And yes, Ghanaians have also not forgotten the recent arrest of the widely alleged electricity transformer-stealing thugs who were also recently arrested and charged by personnel from the Ghana Police Service (GPS), in the Akyem-Assini-Mempeasem vicinity of the Eastern Region, near the Akyem-Oda Municipality, all of whom, it turned out, had been contracted by the Mahama-commanded Gonja-Mafia Leadership of the National Democratic Congress. Of course, we are also well aware of the fact that the former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, had been deliberately and strategically set up for royal railroading by a megalomaniacal Mr. Johnson “The Mosquito” Asiedu-Nketia, the recent superannuated alumnus of the Ghana Armed Forces’ Senior-Staff College, on the patently spurious pretext of having covertly liaised with some so-called elements of the Akyem Mafia, to wit, some anonymous members of the Akufo-Addo-led government of the ruling New Patriotic Party, to thwart the power-grabbing ambitions of the leadership of the National Democratic Congress.

We hope Ghanaian voters and citizens are paying sedulous attention, even as they slowly but steadily head for the polling booth for the watershed December 7, 2024, General Election. We have already made a critical and public observation of the fact of Mr. Gabriel “Gabby” Asare Otchere-Darko’s being a Mahama mole savvily planted amidst Nana Akufo-Addo’s inner-circle operatives. So, there is absolutely no need to expansively detail the same here presently, except to emphatically underscore the fact that the Tema-Mpakadan Railroad Accident, so-called, had all the markings or the hallmarks of an NDC-orchestrated act of sabotage of the most heinous criminality.

Which was fundamentally why the Bole-Bamboi native, from the Akufo-Addo-created Savannah Region, who has done a piddling little to absolutely nothing to facilitate the development of Ghana’s railway network system, would so impetuously and imperiously jump the gun and presumptuously assume that, somehow, no track inspections had been conducted by the relevant authorities of the Ghana Railroad Transport System prior to the decision by the Authority to conduct a test run of one of the newly imported trains from Poland.

Needless to say, Candidate Mahama’s grossly and criminally incompetent conduct of the globally infamous Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) Gravy Train leaves the Moscow-certified political propagandist with absolutely no respectable moral and civic credibility, for the latter to cavalierly presume that he could lecture a lame-duck President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on a subject and an area of our national development that the former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice has handily proven himself to be absolutely without any leadership compeer or match in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
