Dismantling the complex voodoo hierarchies of authorities embedded in cults, shrines, and African spiritual churches

Introduction
How did God dismantle the pagan value system of Israel when he first called them as a nation? The answer is terrifying but full of encouragement and hope in a God who has power to transform nations and free them from a destructive philosophy of their past.

The oppression of Africans by Voodoo philosophy and its system provides the background and impetus for our redemption. And this is really getting God’s attention. God is hearing our cry and taking some drastic steps for our release from its tentacles. The oppressive work that Voodoo philosophy has forced on Africa and people of African descent is evil in motive and cruel in nature. Its destructive fear degrades the value of people and creates a disabling environment for progress in terms of individual worth, family worth and community worth.

Like the slave system in Egypt, the masters of Voodoo philosophy represented by the leadership of its cults, shrines and African spiritual churches have been characterized by ruthlessness, making lives bitter and hard in the sense of cruel service. As a result, many African and African Diaspora communities languish in misery and suffering and broken in spirit. In the midst of this oppressive system, God remains faithful, and our numbers have not dwindled because God saw you and me, intercessors and instruments for his work of deliverance in these Last days. Indeed, God has prophesied about people of African descent, those who are members of Spiritual Israel, “In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.” Isaiah 11:11. Do you count yourself part of this remnant?

Then there is the other prophecy for the rebellious Cush who will be broken by judgments, “Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war,” Psalm 68:30, and would have to finally submit, “Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God.” Psalm 68:31.

PRAY – God Judge All Voodoo Deities.

How did God dismantle the pagan value system of Israel when he first called them as a nation? By judging the gods of Egypt and hierarchies of authorities, “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord.” Exodus 12:12.

Pray that God will judge all the Voodoo principalities and gods in Africa and the African diaspora by sending plagues on all their cults, shrines, and African Spiritual churches to show how impotent these gods are, so many will turn to Jesus to be saved. Then these people will say, “This is the finger of God.” Exodus 8:19.

Pray for plagues on all these cults, shrines, and African spiritual churches and the sources of their occultic powers: plagues on river gods, plagues on goddesses of birth, plagues on fertility gods, plagues on gods of the desert; plagues on fly gods; plagues on animal gods; plagues on harvest gods; plagues on gods of agricultural fertility; plagues on gods of healing and those that prevent diseases; plagues on sky goddesses, plagues on crop fertility gods; plagues on storm gods, plagues on thunder and lightning gods, plagues on sun gods; plagues on protector of children gods; plagues on rain prevention gods; plagues on sorcery and witchcraft; plagues on gods of magic; and plagues on all chief deities and their subordinates in Jesus mighty name.

Pray that God will send judgments that will cause personal misery on the leadership of these cults, shrines, and spiritual churches; disasters that will impair their productive capacity; disasters that will cause Voodoo practices to die; disasters that will ruin the social environments they operate; and pests to invade their ecosystems.

Pray that Africa will be set free to fulfill her Last Days Assignment.

When God rebuked the god of the Nile the first time, Israel was set free. And now God will rebuke this wicked god and principality in Africa a second time, and this time Africa will be set free to worship the God of Israel and to fulfill her Last Days assignment with regards to the wholesale salvation of Israel and the urgent spread of the gospel and the preservation of the Gospel. “Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war. Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God.” Psalm 68:30-31.

PRAY that God will Raise Gideons and Elijahs.

Pray that God will raise many bold prophets and leaders like Gideon and Elijah among people of African descent who will receive extra ordinary anointing to confront idolatry and demolish all their physical and symbolic representations in homes, clan houses and communities in African communities all over the world.

Pray that God will command specific African and African diaspora Spirit-filled Christians to undertake this special calling as he charged Gideon, “…Throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:..” “And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock…and offer a burnt sacrifice…” Judges 6: 25-26.

Pray that God will equip these ‘Gideons’ in African and its Diasporan Church with extra ordinary faith and boldness and provide them faithful partners for this serve. Pray that God Most High will accompany these assignments with signs and wonders to prepare the African Church for its Last Day Role. “Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father’s household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.” Judges 6: 27.

Pray that the aftermath of these Gideon assignments will see many fathers and mothers of Voodoo philosophy submit to the Lord. “The people of the town demanded of Joash, “Bring out your son. He must die, because he has broken down Baal’s altar and cut down the Asherah pole beside it. ”But Joash replied to the hostile crowd around him, “Are you going to plead Baal’s cause? Are you trying to save him? Whoever fights for him shall be put to death by morning! If Baal really is a god, he can defend himself when someone breaks down his altar.” So because Gideon broke down Baal’s altar, they gave him the name Jerub-Baal that day, saying, “Let Baal contend with him.” Judges 6:30-32.

Pray that God will command African and African Diaspora Spirit-filled Christians to confront the Ahab-type and Jezebel-type leaders, and Voodoo cults’ leaders in their communities, as he did with Elijah.

Pray that God will set the stage for a spiritual show down with His Elijahs in Voodoo-philosophy soaked communities by first bringing about natural, economic, and social judgments to get their attention.

Pray that God will use these Elijahs to perform extra ordinary miracles; that fires will come from heaven and burn up Voodoo cults, shrines, and African spiritual churches. “At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.” Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!” 1 Kings 18:36-40.

Pray that God will help you believe firmly that your prayer is powerful and effective as it states in James 5:16 that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective,” and that the Elijahs he is raising in African and its Diaspora Church will display the faith and anointing of the Spirit like Elijah of old: “Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” James 5:17–18.

Pray this Prayer based on Psalm 2.
Today, God Most High, rebuke the hierarchies of authorities in the Voodoo system represented by leadership of cults, shrines and African spiritual churches in your anger and terrify them in your wrath. Let them recognize Jesus as the King of kings and Lord of lords to whom You have given the nations as his inheritance, even the ends of the earth as his possession. Jesus, rule over these hierarchies of authorities in the Voodoo system and break their resistance with your rod of iron and dash them into pieces like pottery. Cause many of their human leaders to respond to your salvation and deliverance and to serve you with fear. Let them celebrate YOUR RULE with trembling so they can escape the coming destruction. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
