NPP still best option for Ghana despite challenges – Dennis Aboagye

Dennis 'Miracles' Aboagye, a leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communication team has asserted that the NPP remains the best choice for Ghanaians, despite facing some challenges.

Mr. Aboagye, who is also a presidential staffer, made the remarks on Wednesday, January 3, while committing to providing Ghanaians with factual information about the NPP administration in 2024.

"We are the best option for this country and that is without doubt inspite of the obvious challenges. The successes outweighs the challenges," said Aboagye in a social media post.

He acknowledged that the NPP government has faced challenges but argued that its achievements so far outweigh the difficulties.

Mr. Aboagye urged members of the NPP's youth wing to have confidence in the party and tout its track record of fixing long-standing problems and promoting development, even amid global headwinds like the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine war.

"It’s time to be confident in our party and government and what we have achieved and step out there boldly to preach it to the public," the communicator stated.

He called on NPP youth to go to towns and villages to propagate government's achievements such as digitalization, free SHS, plantation development, and economic growth, noting that "we have a beautiful story to tell."

The former Akuapem North MCE's comments come as the NPP vows to hold on to power in the 2024 general elections under the slogan ‘breaking the 8.’
