Founder of Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare has finally broken his silence on the controversy surrounding the impasse with the Chiefs and people of Nogokpo.

Speaking at his church, the renowned preacher expressed shock at the level of attention given to the matter, indicating that there are far more worrying issues in the country that deserves media attention.

“...a curse is an invocation of spiritual forces or supernatural forces to do you harm so listen if God says anybody who curses cause my nation and mentions your name invoking spiritual forces against you, what that person is doing is that they are activating a spiritual law against themselves and their family.

“The blessings of Abraham, now God said to Abraham get out your country, from your Kindred, from your Father’s house unto a land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you.

“Can you imagine in Ghana, for three weeks, with all the problems we have, for three weeks they were discussing Archbishop Agyinasare, for three weeks, with all the problems we have, anytime you went on social media, Archbishop Agyinasare, Archbishop Agyinasare,” the Founder of Perez Chapel said.

He continued, “By the blessing of Abraham, I will make your name great so that you can be a blessing. And go to verse three I will bless the name of anyone that blesses you and curse the name of anyone that curses you, so once I become a Christian, you make a mistake if you curse me.”

Early this month, the Chiefs of Nogokpo at a press conference gave Archbishop Agyinasare a 14-day ultimatum to appear before them and apologise or face their wrath.

This was after the Archbishop had described Nogokpo as the demonic headquarters in the Volta Region.

After the ultimatum was given, it created a lot of controversy and attracted discussions on both social and traditional media.

In the last few weeks though, the issue has since died down.
