Sam George Is Flip on Harris’ LGBTQ+ Rights Protection Call

As usual, the country’s main opposition National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, in the Greater-Accra Region, Samuel Nartey George or Samuel George Nartey – how he loves his culturally borrowed European and Western names; and see just how he shamelessly flaunts them – decided to take on a topic whose debate he was clearly unequal to. As well, the Nigerian-born petulant brawling street urchin decided to take on the sterling accomplishments of a crackerjack and lambent-witted legal light and a woman world-class leader whose profile is much, much bigger than the aging politician and former barber whose shoes this brash butterball of a roguish opportunist tearfully claimed to have once blacked and polished around the clock for at least one protracted electoral cycle or season without pay.

You see, the fact of the matter is that contrary to what the young and intellectually immature and morally reprobate Parliamentary Representatives of Ghana’s opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), would have the rest of their countrymen and women believe, these kleptocratic political windbags, for the most part, are smack on the same page as the gunslinging and violence-addicted Senatorial and Congressional Representatives of the United States of America’s Republican Party (RP), the so-called Grand Old Party (GOP). Like the leaders of the US Republican Party – I even once thought the initials “RP” rather bizarrely rhymed with “RIP,” as in Rest-In-Peace and, perhaps, Rest-In-Pieces as well – the overwhelming majority and percentage of the bullying and the human rights violations that take place in Ghana on a daily basis, almost invariably contains the bloody fingerprints and the dirty signature of the leadership of the late Chairman Jeremiah “Jerry” John Rawlings-founded political establishment of the National Democratic Congress, including the globally infamous Kumasi Kidnapping of the Two Canadian Young White Women NGO volunteers some five, or so, years ago. And by the way, Kumasi is the unofficial second capital of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana and the foremost Royal Metropolis.

Anyway, in that most scandalous international incident and a patent and an inexcusable national contretemps, which a vision-bereft and the ideologically bald and naked leaders of the National Democratic Congress had hoped to strategically use to unseat the relatively far more competent and progressive Akufo-Addo-led government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), it was the name and the audiotaped voice of the recently ousted National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, to wit, Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, that surfaced as part of the forensic evidence of police and national security investigators. Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo, a former cabinet and non-cabinet ministerial appointee in the governments of the late President John Evans “Atta-Woyome” Mills and the immediate successor of the latter, former President John “European Airbus Payola” Dramani Mahama, would have his conspiratorial voice flown to Israel for forensic analysis and be “scientifically” authenticated by the crackerjack Israeli national intelligence agency.

In the Kumasi Kidnapping of the Canadian White Women NGO Volunteers, the Jihadist-minded prime suspect was also identified by the media in a widely publicized photograph in which Mr. Mahama, the de-facto leader and the Dynastic Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress, was honoring and festooning the prime suspect with a bunch of laurels. The pair was standing on dais looking far into what appeared to be a crowd of party supporters and sympathizers off-camera, and beaming with the triumphant smiles of some world heavyweight boxing champions.

Now, what all the preceding simply means is that the politically and ideologically cynical likes of Messrs. Nartey George and Alban Bagbin, the National Democratic Congress-sponsored Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, to name just two of the most obvious, have absolutely no moral credibility to qualify them to authoritatively speak to the critical issue or question of global human rights violations and the sacred need and obligation for the jealous protection of the rights and the liberties of any endangered groups among humanity’s most vulnerable and routinely and wantonly oppressed, including, of course, members of Ghana’s oppressed LGBTQI+ community, let alone human rights violations in, of all places, the United States of America, a behemoth global superpower and unarguably the foremost cosmopolitan champion, albeit not the least bit impeccable, of both human and animal rights.

It is also morally instructive for the Dear Reader to be significantly reminded of the fact that when the rabidly racist former Republican Party-sponsored President of the United States, Mr. Donald John Trump, disdainfully described some Third-World countries, largely countries in Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia as “Shithole Countries,” it was National Democratic Congress’ leaders like Mr. John Dramani Mahama who, by the way, had also strategically envisaged himself to be Ghana’s Candidate Trump, going into the fiercely fought 2020 Presidential Election, and Mr. Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, the newly elected National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, who were among the very first batch of self-hating African politicians and leaders to throw their unreasoned full-heft behind this inexcusably genocidal attempt by a scofflaw and tax-dodging Mr. Trump to literally demonize and dehumanize and summarily proscribe the humanity of non-Aryan and non-European people around the world.

No critically thinking avid observer of international politics would argue with and/or against the fact that the exponentially high spate of gun-related violence here in the United States of America, in general, but in particular gun-related violence in our educational institutions at all levels leaves much to be desired. But here, again, the real criminal culprits are the senators and the congressional representatives of the United States’ Republican Party who may be aptly and legitimately described as the clones and the mirror images of the cynical and the pathologically self-absorbed parliamentarians of Ghana’s main opposition National Democratic Congress.

Like the US’ Republican Party politicians who adamantly refuse to constructively facilitate the rational passage of laws that will prevent hardened criminals and the emotionally and mentally unstable from the easy acquisition and access to high-powered military-style assault rifles, the politicians and the parliamentary representatives of Ghana’s main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, appear to be hellbent on making and passing laws that deny the humanity and the human rights of human beings who do not subscribe to their binary or heterosexual lifestyles.

But guess what, Dear Reader? The worst and the greatest problem of the inappropriate expression of human sexuality that is ripping Ghanaian society apart, slowly but steadily, is the sort of adulterous and extramarital affairs and the statutory rape of underage teenage girls that are overtly and shamelessly promoted and even heartily celebrated by faux-socialist oriented politicians like Messrs. Samuel Nartey George, Alban Bagbin, the Oxbridge-schooled Prof. Moses Foh-Amoaning and Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, to name only a handful, in the inglorious name of “proper human sexual expression and practice.” May Divine Providence save us from these arrogant self-righteous human vermin.
