The Jehova Rapha Orphanage in Suhum in the Eastern Region has become the latest home to benefit from the good deeds of ASA Savings and Loans Limited.

Just as has been done in the past, Savings and Loans Limited has this year supported a number of homes with various items to sustain its operation.

In the latest move, ASA Savings and Loans have supported the Jehova Rapha Orphanage in Suhum with groceries and stationery items worth GHS4,785.

The donation was made by Mr. David Amevor who is the Area Manager of ASA Savings and Loans in Koforidua together with the Suhum branch manager George Ntim.

According to George Ntim, the gesture by ASA Savings and Loans Limited is part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

He said through the items donated, his outfit hopes it will help managers of Jehova Rapha Orphanage keep it running for the benefit of the people they take care of.

The items donated include two bags of rice, seven packs of T-Roll, two packets of carnation milk, two medium-size gallons of cooking oil, two packs of diapers, one box of cerelac, six packets of detol, two boxes of madar soap, one bag of powdered soap, four packs of baby wipes and four packs of pepsodent.

The stationary items donated to the orphanage had 35 books, three packs of pencils, as well as one box of erasers.

The managers of Jehova Rapha Orphanage upon receiving the items thanked ASA Savings and Loans for the kind gesture.

They used the opportunity to call on others to follow the footsteps of ASA Savings and Loans to also make similar donations to help keep the orphanage in operation.
