The national organizer of the People's National Convention (PNC), Desmond Twumasi Ntow, has resigned as the organizer and member of the party.
In a letter addressed to the party’s Chairman and copied to the national secretary, the former national organizer thanked the rank and file of the party for their support throughout his stay in the party.
He has however cited personal reasons as his reasons for the decision and indicates that he may appropriately at the right time make known the real reason for his decision.
"Even though, many might wonder why, but my reason is personal and at the appropriate time I might come out with such a motion".
Below is the letter;
THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
PEOPLES NATIONAL CONVENTION
LETTER OF RESIGNATION
Accept my humble letter of resignation as a member of People's National Convention. I would like to thank both the rank and file as well as past and current leadership of the party for their support since I became both a member and a national officer of this great party P.N.C.
However, it is equally with regret that I am writing this unusual letter to this current leadership informing them of my resignation as a member of People's National Convention.
Even though, many might wonder why, but my reason is personal and at the appropriate time I might come out with such a motion. I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavours and hope that despite my departure all would be great and well. Thank you very much.
