Three days of what can best be described as the preeminent shopping experience came to an exciting close Sunday night.

Joy FM’s mega shopping experience – Joy @ The Mall - and the West Hills Mall, New Weija, which had the specs of everything fun and excitement, was a perfect showpiece.

The event, the first of many, kicked off last Friday, October 23 and ended Sunday, October 25 with the sole aim of making the shopping experience of patrons a memorable one through impressive discount sales and giveaways.

And yes the sheer excitement and feeling of fulfillments on the faces of patrons and shop owners said it all. It was an unforgettable weekend where shopping was truly redefined.

On Friday, the first day of the event, some of Joy FM's exciting programmes including the Cosmopolitan Mix with Doreen Andoh and Drive Time on Joy with Lexis Bill were hosted live from the venue.

During the Drive Time, renowned Ghanaian actor John Dumelo made a surprise appearance. He spent time with shoppers and gave out exciting goodies to patrons.

On day two, Saturday, patrons enjoyed from series of competitions like the Karaoke, formation dance and live performances from award-winning rapper Okyeame Kwame and Qweci, formally Ded Buddy.

The grandness of the Joy @ The Mall was evident in Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson, who turned 31 Saturday, and decided to celebrate her big day at the event at the West Hills Mall.

Beaming with perfect smiles, the actress, who had her mum by her side, chose to join the super station and hundreds of families who trooped to the mall, which was also celebrating its first anniversary, for the big day.

Saturday’s impressive show lineups had the ever beautiful Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye and the sleek Nathaniel Attoh hosting the first block shows - a mixed bag of good music, soothing conversations and dedications with exciting giveaways.

Drive Time host, Lexis Bill, looking all dapper in his white apparel, took over affairs dishing out the best of music. Okyeame Kwame and Qweci took to the floor to treat patrons to some great performances.

DJ Black closed the day with the best icing ever - the Joy @ The Mall Jam. His turntables were busy and so were patrons, who took to the door floor to do justice to the songs oozing out of the speakers.

DJ Black was in his elements. He was busy dishing out the best music had to offer. He turned the frontal and entrance of the mall to a nightclub, it was jamboree and a feast of music.

On Sunday, the final day, DJ Black kicked the day off which exciting music and interactions. DJ Andy Dosty took over to cap the weekend of a fantastic shopping experience.

The next stop of the Joy @ The Mall is The Junction Mall, Nungua from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1.
