Haiti concert on February 6

Come Saturday, February 6 some selected Ghanaian artistes will mount the stage at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra to perform at a tribute concert dubbed 'Ghana Loves Haiti'.

The event, which is being organized to raise funds to assist Haiti, promises to shake the foundation of the Conference Centre with live performances from some seasoned musicians in Ghana.

The event is also anticipated to be a huge party which will bring together some of the big players in show business as well as a section of stakeholders.

The artistes billed to perform include R2bees, Wutah, D-Black, Papa Sly, Kwaku T, Sammy B, Mutombo and King David.

Others are Okyeame Kwame, Bradez, Yasmeen Helwani, Efya, Iwan, Kwabena Kwabena and Ohema Mercy.

The rest are Oj, Irene Logan, Bertha (Stars Of The Future), Sammy B, Rough N Smooth, Nii, Echo, Wanluv and FBS.

Guest Presenters for the night include Kwame Sefa Kayi, KSM, Michelle Attoh, Kofi Ansah, KKD, Kwasi Pratt Jr., Gideon Aryequaye, Koofori, Abeiku Santana and a host of others.

The event, produced by Blaqkaprikorn, is being sponsored by the Ministries of Information and Foreign Affairs.

Proceeds will be donated to the United Nations Emergency Response Fund HAITI.
