The Reality of Demonic Mentors

Recently, the Lord sent me with a word of warning to the members of my church and I am positive that the warning is for the Body of Christ that Christians should beware of demonic mentors who are in Zion, but were not placed by God to be examples to the people. Imitation and mentoring is God's concept that has been on for several generations and you should commence conscious imitation.

Here are three important truths for your help:
(1) To become all that God wants you to be, there must be someone with whom you are practising godly imitation.

(2) The person with whom you practise godly imitation must be someone God has ordained for you.

(3) If you miss the person you are to imitate, you may never become all that God planned for you.

We celebrate the life of Elisha today because he imitated correctly. The end of Godly imitation is that you will become an amplification of what you are following or imitating. For example, if you are going to be a Christian of great repute in your generation, you must find a man or a woman that God has put in front of you to model the expectations of God to you.

There are an increasing number of people in Zion today that God did not give the permission to mentor others and young Christians should be careful not to follow all that glitters; There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Many times the knowledge of who you should imitate will come by a divine knowing in your heart or even by revelation. It is very important to look up to God for the person you are to imitate, I remember when I was a young Christian; there was a brother that God put in my life, that brother could really fast and pray. I followed correctly and I'm in the purpose of God today. Don't follow the wrong people so that you will not have an exchanged destiny.

Prayer:   Lord, open my eyes to see men as they really are; that I will not fall into the hands of demonic mentors in the name of Jesus, amen.
