Actress Nana Ama McBrown has dismissed critics questioning her age, asserting that their opinions will neither affect her in anyway.

In reaction to ongoing speculation surrounding her age and comparisons with fellow actress Pascaline Edwards, McBrown remained unbothered, declaring that she is indifferent to the controversy surrounding her age.

"People can say whatever they like about me; it won’t take food away from my table," McBrown asserted in a video shared by Ghpage News.

"They can even give me 85 years; I’m still okay. The point is, it won’t kill me, and it won’t reduce my account. It’ll also not get me fired by Onua TV, nor will it get my contract with Hisense terminated," she added.

McBrown's remarks come amidst discussions prompted by Pascaline Edwards's recent 54th birthday celebration.

Pascaline Edwards, in a social media post marking her birthday, lamented perceived age-related challenges in the Ghanaian film industry, suggesting that she had been sidelined by producers.

The ensuing controversy led to speculation about McBrown's age, with some drawing comparisons between her and Pascaline Edwards.

However, McBrown has chosen to ignore the “noise,” focusing instead on her continued success and resilience in the face of criticism.
