Don't pressure yourself to be successful at age 30 - Owner of Iroko TV, Jason Njoku advises youth

The founder of IrokoTV, Jason Njoku has admonished the youth under age 30 pressuring themselves to succeed in life at all cost.

He has indicated that these under 30 years old with the desperation to make it in life without clocking that number is so unnecessary.

Using his life as a case study he noted that at the age of 30 he was so broke to the extent that he was living under the roof of his mother.

He emphasized that all he had was his company, IrokoTV which is the first online movie streaming platform in Nigeria with several failures when building it.

Taking to Twitter he noted that he’s currently enjoying so the youth should slow down on things as it’s strange and unnecessary for a young guy to pressure himself because he wants to succeed.

In his words,

“The pressure for <30year olds to succeed these days is so strange. So unnecessary. At 30 I was dead broke living at my Mum’s house. No girlfriend & zero assets.”

He added “just me my 2nd hand desktop & @irokotv 10 failures to my name but man did I enjoy those early years in the world. Enjoy sha."
