FDA vrs Wendy Shay

I have taken the pain to read a couple of messages that Wendy shay has put out there that, FDA is by its authority taking food from their mouth. I would have felt the same as a citizen or artiste especially when you have worked hard to reach the point of signing a contract, however, it will also be unpardonable if we fail to recognize the law and how it improves the system rather than it is seen as a monster.

As I further read the point of Wendy Shay, I asked myself, "Is safe sex permissible, Can I do that before the child lawfully? It got me thinking a lot more. Importantly, I think controlling and guiding the choices of our children is one factor we all do at our homes primarily unless we don't want to admit it in good faith.

Also, the bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:23 "All things are legitimate [permissible—and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]".

FDA may allow alcohol into the system like any other world but without regulations, we will end up feeding ourselves with poison. I believe that, this is a great avenue to bring our musicians close to the _Public Health Act 2012_.

Furthermore, it should sound very professional in the minds of the management of these musicians to also find out about the laws before engaging in any activity that may contravene the integrity of the laws stipulated by authorities like the FDA (Food and Drugs Authority) and GSA (Ghana Standard Authority).

Musicians affected should also understand that brand association is one critical thing that must be watched especially when it comes to situations like this.

On a lighter note, Television stations, social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook were created for people to reach the world either through fun, educative purposes or for business but there are restrictions that prevent nude videos unless you observe the 18+ acceptance. I am sure they are also there to make money but with regulations attached.

By saying all the above, it does not prevent artiste like Wendy Shay and any other artiste to respectfully test the law.

Agreeably, the FDA as authority alone can not give customers or clients maximum satisfaction without feedback and also cases not reported through the right channel. The authority needs the support of the general public to deliver on the best proactive acceptance and preventive measures.

In my candid opinion, FDA has made a much more positive impact under the leadership of Mrs. Delese Mimi Darko, the CEO of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
