Having achieved street credibility in a fairly undeveloped Ghanaian dancehall genre at the time, he achieved popularity with his 2004 single, "Moko Hoo", which featured Tinny. Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale. His best known song is "Dancehall King", which led to winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards

The Self acclaimed Dancehall king has released a bombshell over his yet to be released "Island" video.

According to him, his videos are going to be “wack for some illiterates and fools” in Ghana but the whole of Africa and the world will applaud him and his team for putting up such a hard work.

Despite being in the news few days ago about his separation from his long-time girlfriend Michy, the Dancehall artiste seem to be moving on from with his life.

The "Reign Album" maker received a lot of bashing after he had released visuals of his "my level" song of which many have questioned its concept and opined of low budget.

Shatta Wale then had blown a presumptuous statement to potential critiques of his yet to be released video.

He wrote on his wall; "My next videos are going to be WACK to some illiterates in Ghana alone but Africa and the World will applaud me, my fans and my team for putting up such a hard work ... Dont be a Fool!!!! Too much fooling in Ghana are not making the youths of today know how to hustle for money...#Staystrong & #Beserious"
