U.K.-based Ghanaian music duo Reggie and Bollie have entreated celebrate diversity in their talents and be supportive of one another.

They say unity it is important in an industry that thrives on collaborating to get the best out of any talent and not be worried in outshining each other.

Reggie Zippy born Reginald Ainooson told Joy News’ Becky "there is no need for unnecessary beefing and all that because it does not make one a great musician. Let’s put away selfishness, greed, and let’s have the bigger picture in mind".

He further added "if you can help someone somewhere if you’ve got some links you can help other artistes, do that. That’s what we’re all about".

Reggie Zippy also encouraged local acts to aim to cross the borders of the country and make a name internationally.

For his part, Ishmael Hamid popularly called Bollie, said, "lets support each other, because other people are doing it, and they are moving forward".
