Create More Platforms For Upcoming Artistes - New Talent Pleads

Tema, a suburb in the greater Accra region is known for numerous super awesome things amongst them is the kind of music artistes it breeds, this year has seen another artiste rise to the light (Dosty -deebrayn).

Dosty is the initials for his birth name Dennis Osabutey Sedem Tsiantey Yao, a stylish of the brain, an upcoming artiste, a singer and songwriter.

He prefers these type of genre of music hiplife ,hiphop,Afro beat and love song and is currently working with sound engineer; Citrus beatz.

According to Dosty, music is something that runs through the family because about 3 of his brothers try being a musicians but couldn't found a help and had to stop.

He started creating songs since childhood and has been in it for about 2 to 3 years now, haven recorded about 10 songs, Dosty have only 4 collaborations with other up and coming artistes, no celebrity so far, he added.

Speaking to Philisaonline Dosty outlined some challenges facing the up and coming artistes saying

“There is not much avenue for us in old and new times, Ican see the music industry is improving as compare to the 90s, but I think there should be a platform for the upcoming artistes to be able to exhibit their talent” he explained.

Also he added that “If the Ghana Music Industry is structurally organized to enable all musicians profitably earn from their artistic works, music will create jobs and boost the economy”.

Aside music, Dosty is a God fearing gentleman who loves doing the work of God and is blessed with the talent od dance, choreography, and his is a member of his church choir.

Dosty is currently out with his latest track is titled '3buboba' which was released last week featuring Keli Izee. 3buboba according to Dosty is a creative afro beat song specially designed for all music lovers this festive season.
