Black Stars “B” head coach, Maxwell Konadu remains cautious ahead of the WAFU Cup of Nations finals against Nigeria on Sunday.
Ghana set up a clash with their bitter rivals in the finals after humbling Niger by 2-0 on Thursday night at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Goals from Kwame Kizito and Stephen Sarfo saw the Black Stars cruise to the finals of the ongoing WAFU tournament.
Despite the awesome victory over Niger, Maxwell Konadu is urging his side to avoid complacency as they come up against Nigeria.
“We are going to face Nigeria again, of course they are a tough side, they beat us in the first game and it is important for us to be very cautious ahead of this game,” he told the media.
“We must make sure we correct some mistake we made in the first game so we don’t repeat them again.
“Nigeria for me has been one of the best teams in the competition so far.”
Nigeria defeated Ghana 2-0 in the final Group A match.
