Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Frank Nelson says he is the dark over reports that the Premier League is set to land a whopping sponsorship deal from a Turkish firm worth US$ 44 million.
The publication by state-owned Graphic Sports on Monday brought hope to the sponsorless league but others had their doubts if the deal which was said to be too good to be true.
''I don't have an idea about it not my committee the issue of this Turkish firm or $44 million dollar sponsorship deal is neither here nor there,'' the Hearts of Oak board chairman told Starr FM.
''Am very sure that the General Secretary of the GFA equally will contact our committee if there is anything of that sort on the table.'
''We are still working hard to get a sponsor for the Ghana Premier League.''
