Ghana hero Andre Ayew has heaped immense praise on his teammates for coming from behind to beat South Africa and make the quarter-finals at the AFCON tournament.
In a post-match interview, Ayew - who scored the winning goal with a header- expressed his delight at the win and asked for calm as preparations start for the next round.
"I am very happy with the way we played. I managed to give the ball to John Boye, and he scored", he told allsports.com.gh
"It was a very good team performance, and we need to be calm. We need to know we have done a good job."
"If that's how [coming back from behind] we are going to get to the final then we will do it."
"So once again I congratulate the entire squad, I hope this victory will help us become more United and go further", he added
