I am not under pressure - Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara after losing to Asante Kotoko

Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has remained resolute in the face of recent challenges despite the team's turbulent performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians' struggles were exacerbated by a 2-0 loss to their rivals, Asante Kotoko, on Sunday during the Matchday 31 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Addressing reporters in the aftermath of the game, Ouattara emphasized that the pressure is being felt collectively by the team rather than solely resting on his shoulders.

"In football, the ability to capitalize on opportunities is crucial for success. Unfortunately, we failed to convert our chances, and Asante Kotoko performed better today. We need to improve our performance," Ouattara stated candidly.

When asked about whether he feels pressured personally, Ouattara clarified, "No, I am not under personal pressure; it's the team that's feeling the heat.

"We are all feeling the pressure. It's not just me; the entire team is under pressure because we are striving for points to secure our position," he added.

Currently positioned 15th on the league table with 38 points.
