Kosta Papic: I want to win the league and my players understand the ambition
The head coach for Hearts of Oak, Kosta Papic says he is focused on winning the Ghana Premier title and his players understand his ambition for the season.
The Serbian tactician in December 2020 took over from coach Edward Nii Odoom to head the technical bench of the first team of the Phobians.
With a series of good results with the team, Kosta Papic has been applauded for making the side better.
Currently in the running to challenge for the Ghana Premier League title, the experienced coach says his aim is to enjoy that triumph at the end of the 2020/2021 season.
Speaking t Pure FM in an interview, Kosta Papic insists that all his players at Hearts of Oak understand his ambition and have bought into the idea.
“.....In the meantime, we must fight in matches we can to win the league. If I don't win the league, for me that is not the satisfaction.
“I want to win the Hearts Oak. That is the end of the story and the players understand my ambition,” Coach Papic noted.
After playing 9 matches in the Ghana Premier League, Hearts of Oak sits 5th on the standings of the division having amassed 15 points.
