Nicknamed the Royals, the capital-based club signed the former Sunderland FC striker on transfer deadline day of the local window on a free transfer to give the team a massive squad boost.
Due to some fitness issues, Asamoah Gyan only watched from the bench on the first two Matchdays of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Now in good shape, the experienced forward is set to play his first match for Legon Cities FC today.
According to information gathered from close sources, the striker is likely to be used as a second-half substitute in the match against Medeama SC.
Meanwhile, Asamoah Gyan has been spotted boarding the team bus of his new club as they move to the Accra Sports Stadium ahead of kickoff to the big fixture.
