Highly-rated forward, Joseph Esso scored for Dreams FC on Sunday afternoon to inspire the side to a 2-1 win against Medeama SC in the new Ghana Premier League season.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker dazzled for the Dawu-based club last weekend when the team drew goalless against Inter Allies on Matchday 1 of the 2020/2021 season.

Following up with another outstanding performance today, Joseph Esso scored after just 14 minutes of play at the Theatre of Dreams to give Dreams FC a deserved lead against Medeama.

That equalizer separated the two teams at the break before an improved performance from the visitors in the second half saw them drawing level in the 72nd minute courtesy of a strike from new signing Kwadwo Asamoah.

Now headed for another draw, Dreams FC threw bodies forward to push for a second goal to merit all 3 points at the end of the game.

Fortunately, the efforts of the team paid off in the 89th minute as Ibrahim Issah found the back of the net with a fine finish to hand the home team a 2-1 at the end of regulation time.
