Tayo Sobola debut with AREWA ONIJOGBON

She meant different things to different people. She's a Dancer, a Model, a Music Videos Vixen, a TV Presenter, and An Actress amongst many others. Tayo Sobola popularly known as Sotayo in the entertainment circle is adding another feather to her cap as she is about to debut as a producer with her forth-coming movie, Arewa Onijogbon. Sotayo has starred in countless music videos for stars like 2face Idibia, Artquake, Jahborne, Danny Young, 2Shotz, Da Natives, Sheyman, Freewindz, Lord of Ajasa, etc.

This Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate of Public Administration is set to make statement in Nollywood with Arewa Onijogbon whose trailer has been enjoying massive viewing on YouTube since it was released few days ago. The movie, Arewa Onijogbon made used of the best and latest equipments in the movie making technology, making it to have a different look and feel from the regular Yoruba movies that is been churned out in the Yoruba genre of Nollywood.

She's set to record a blockbuster with the movie and she's dreaming of redefining the Yoruba genre of the Nigerian film industry with AREWA ONIJOGBON. A movie which is full of suspense, pain and love between a father, his daughter and stepmother.

The movie highlights the pain of a father (Akin Lewis) who has to choose between his daughter (Tayo Sobola) and his newly married wife (Racheal Oniga) to have a peaceful home. This is the psychological torture he has to face because the two beautiful women are so important in his life. But the decision of who matters more becomes a nightmare…

A highly hilarious and educative movie full of twists. The movie deals with the issues encountered by Single Parents, more especially problems that arise between Step-mothers and Step-daughters. It's a must see for all.

AREWA ONIJOGBON, a contemporary Yoruba movie is produced by Tayo Sobola under her production company SOTEE ENTERTAINMENT and directed by Muyideen S. Ayinde.

Sotayo have appeared in movies like Jacki-Phillips, Super Woman, Iwowo Abiamo, Ejiworo, Ewu Loko Longe and Ojukoju (produced by Femi Adebayo and to be released soon).

The Special Media Screening and Grand Premiere of AREWA ONIJOGBON come up in April.

The pretty actress will soon be leaving for a formal training in Movie Directing and Acting at the New York Film Academy in London.
