It came as a surprise to many when the news made the rounds that Yoruba movie star and daughter of former ANTP President and top actor,Jide Kosoko,Sola had gotten married to her long time heartthrob secretly.
Many wondered why a star like her should get married without informing the public,especially her colleagues.Many of her colleagues and family members knew about her relationship and were looking forward to the wedding but she took them by surprise by opting for a secret wedding.
But we can now reveal that the secret wedding was actually the making of her father,Prince Jide Kosoko who,we learnt,did not want undue attention.
A competent family source said Jide Kosoko decided to go that way because he did not want media to feast on the couple as is often done with other stars and with too much publicity, such marriages do not last.
The source further disclosed that the former ANTP President loves his daughter so much and would not want anything that will affect her negatively or destabilize her.
Only a handful of Sola's friends like Mercy Aigbe who is in her generation were aware of the wedding and showed up to felicitate with her.
