An NPP Parliamentary Aspirant for Sunyani East constituency in the Bono region, Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, has reiterated the need for members of the elephant fraternity to unite and join hands in ensuring a resounding victory for the party in the upcoming general elections.

To this end, Mr. Tuah-Yeboah has pledged to ensure a firmly united front of the NPP in the Sunyani East constituency not just to retain the parliamentary seat but also to widen the party's votes in both presidential and parliamentary during the December elections.

On the campaign tour Mr. Tuah-Yeboah, who is also a private legal practitioner, was addressing Polling Station executives at Baakoniaba near Sunyani at the start of his campaign tour of the various Electoral Areas in the constituency to canvass for votes ahead of the NPP Parliamentary primaries slated for April this year.

The aspirant, who will soon be submitting his nomination form to the party, assured delegates that he would bring all constituency executives together for the common good of the party and would not entertain any divisive tactics within ranks of the party.

Value/respect delegates

He condemned the practice where delegates only seem to gain some recognition when the party is preparing for internal elections such as parliamentary primaries and promised to continuously seek the welfare of delegates all-year round to encourage them to work harder for the party at all times.

Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah announced plans to effectively resource the constituency office of the party to enable the executives carry-out their activities effectively and also see to the setting-up of satellite party offices at vantage points across the constituency where party faithful could hold meetings and other social programmes.

“It's time for us to build the party by resourcing it to enable it to become very attractive to a lot more people”, he added.

He encouraged the Polling Station executives to be receptive to all his fellow contestants and accord them with due respect in the run-up to the elections.
