Over 1,000 Junior High School (JHS) Students have benefited from a free mock examination conducted by Member of Parliament for Abetifi constituency Hon. Bryan Acheampong together with Kwahu-East DCE, Hon. Isaac Agyapong and the District Education Directorate.

The exercise according to organizers, the exercise is part of efforts to test the strength of JHS pupils within the Kwahu East District as they prepare for the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

It is expected to help prepare students adequately before they sit for the exams knowing that education is one of the most powerful tools for empowering individuals and communities.

A total of 1,169 Junior High School final year students from 47 public and 10 private schools in the District sat for the exams for the teachers to access them and know the areas they need to polish ahead of their final BECE exams.

Students who sat for the mock examination will be monitored closely and given the need guidance as far as revision is concerned in order to get them ready for their final exams which will usher them into Senior High School.

The BECE examination for this year will start on June 4, and end on June 14, 2019.
