Hon. Sebastian Sandaare Cuts Sod For Construction Of A New Constituency Party Office

The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress yesterday, Friday, 21/09/2018 cut the sod for the construction of multipurpose office complex for the party in the constituency. The site for construction is located at Issa, the capital of the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district.

This was done after a meeting with Kojokperi zone. The member of parliament was supported by many party gurus. The following dignitaries: The Vice regional Chairman, Alhaji Issah Musah, Nuhu Putiaha, the regional organizer, Nicodemus Dery, the regional youth organizer, Prosper Puo-ire, the regional communication officer, Abdul Momeen Razak(Gado), the Regional Zongo caucus coordinator and the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa constituency Chairman, Richard Poolabong were all present . The executive committee of the NDC for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa was largely represented.

Speaking to the Member of parliament after the short ceremony, he touted the efforts of the constituency executives for initiating the move to build a modern party office for the constituency.

"It was an innovative decision they took and as member of parliament for the area, I will support them in any way within my capacity to have this office constructed". He told newsstandgh.

The constituency executives launched a fundraising program in 29/08/2018 in WA Regional Library Conference room to enable them raise funds to build the party office in the constituency. Though the executive committee did not disclose to our source how much have been raised, it is obvious that all is set to put up the structure.

The constituency secretary, Wor James indicated that the work shall commence immediately after the sod cutting ceremony. He also mentioned that his leadership is in a hurry to have the office completed within a reasonable time frame to enable the party prepare adequately for electoral activities ahead of the 2020 elections.

The Regional Executives were very happy upon inspecting the site and encouraged other constituencies to take similar steps to ensure that the party is made visible and vibrant. The Vice Regional Chairman was particularly excited and promised to give support to ensure the success of the project.
