B. A NPP congratulates new ministers

The Brong-Ahafo regional executives of the New Patriotic Party have learnt with great joy, the news of the elevation of Evans Opoku Bobie as the new substantive Regional Minister.

In a statement issued and signed by the party's Regional Secretary, Kofi Ofosu Boateng, the Executives said Evans Opoku Bobie had already been called to serve as the Deputy Regional Minister under Hon. Lawyer Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh, making him "the right man for the job."

The statement commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for this appointment which clearly concludes that he is satisfied with the stewardship of Mr. Opoku Bobie in the period that he has deputized Mr. Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh.

" We would also like to congratulate Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie on his elevation to the high office of Brong Ahafo Regional Minister. This is an indication of his efficiency and managerial abilities. He has conducted himself extremely well and discharged his official and political duties creditably and we are convinced that the new office of substantive Regional Minister is one that he is well prepared for," the Statement said.

According to the statement the entire regional executive body and New Patriotic Party machinery in the region is solidly in support of him and will work hand in hand with him as they did for Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh.

The party which had earlier issued a statement to congratulate Lawyer Kwaku Asoma Cheremeh over his nomination, subsequently conveyed a similar expression of commendation and congratulations to Martin Oti Gyarko, Member of Parliament for Techiman North who has also been appointed as the new Deputy Regional Minister.

According to Mr Kofi Ofosu Boateng, Hon. Martin Oti Gyarko is also an illustrious son of the Region and the party is totally convinced that he is the best choice.

Meanwhile, the people of the Brong Ahafo region will on next week Tuesday officially hold a send-off party in Honour of Mr. Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh at the Residency in Sunyani.
