Lead Promotions, a marketing promotional company, in collaboration with Catena Conclave, a motivational organisation, has launched 'The Catena Conclave' to provide a platform to inform and empower young Africans through mentoring, motivations and coaching.

The new project would inspire the youth with experiences of successful people in order for them to avoid making wrong choices.

Mr Shadrack Ohene Okai, the Project Director for Catena Conclave, said the forum would strive to bring leaders and public figures together, to interact with the youth and empower them to have ideas of building a successful future from their youthful stages.

He said the conclave would provide services, including conferences, mentoring and motivation; and promote several sessions, whereby life coaches, mentors and role models would present and share their stories with students.

He said since motivation was a way of directing people to have a behaviour change or cause a person to want to repeat an action, it was necessary to contact people with words of motivation in order to cause a reason for the best conducts in Africa.

Mr Ohene Okai encouraged the youths to register with the Catena Conclave, assuring them that their registration automatically grants them the opportunity to be mentored and also gain free access to mentoring materials and programmes.

He said the conclave would 'empower young people with the word of God and ensure that they do not make the same mistakes of their parents.'

'People have the idea but do not have money, others have money but do not have any idea, therefore this platform would bring these people together, so that they can achieve a common goal,' he said.

He encouraged the youth to think and develop new ideas that would enable them to generate income rather than waiting on government to provide jobs or create employments.

Ms Deborah Kumi, a Junior High School graduate, who was a beneficiary, showed appreciation for the new project, adding that; she had gained lots of lessons from the programme.

'I had a vision and mission in life but I didn't know how to manage myself so well to execute certain actions to achieve these goals, however, participating in today's event has given me broader knowledge to know how to work with my vision, aim and mission,' she noted.

She encouraged the youths to learn more about Catena Conclave and enrol, so that they can be motivated and also be a source of encouragement to others, to create more successful people in life.
