Seasons Greetings From NUGS Leadership
27.12.2017 LISTEN

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) extend our warmest greetings and best wishes to all Students celebrating Christmas. We join the millions across the world in recognising the sense of renewed hope this joyous season brings to us.

_As we give and receive the goodwill of Christ in this Holy Season, let us be mindful of the true meaning of His life on earth, and especially of His greatest love to humanity; "Love". NUGS therefore, urge all to remain committed to the cardinal principles of Christianity: love, charity and reconciliation._

Despite the challenges the student front has suffered in recent times which led to the loss of some precious lives, we should not see those as blueprint towards our tomorrow but rather, take delight in the fact that, other hurdles has been jumped and victory achieved.

*From the signing of an MoU with Haven of Hope for Humanity on an Anti-Corruption Program powered by STAR-Ghana, Signing of MoU with the Ghana International Model United Nations (GIMUN), Visit and donation to Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) during their trying times and liasing with the Ministry of Health and Education to speed up Vaccination and Immunization processes which necessitated the speed with which Vaccines were imported, Ongoing negotiations to place 2 nurses each in every Senior High School with a medically well stocked Sick Bays, while equipping it will not only benefit these students but reduce the Youth Unemployment menace in our country, Visit to Konongo Odumase Senior High(KOSS) during the unfortunate times when fire gutted some dormitories, to the ongoing Refurbishment of the NUGS Secretariat, among others.*

We are most grateful to God for giving us the opportunity to serve you, in the coming year. We assure you that we will devote all my energies towards advocating for a free and sound environment of opportunities, where every Ghanaian Student, would have access to education, in our quest to building a prosperous Ghana.

We urge all Students to celebrate the season safely and responsibly. Let's our open hearts and warm smiles help feed those who are less endowed and offer comfort to those in need.

On behalf of the National Executive Officer's and the National Executive Committee of our dear Union, NUGS wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

God Bless Our Homeland Ghana!
And Make Our Nation, Great and Strong.
God Bless The National Union of Ghana Students..
Aluta Continua.....
