Accra, May 26, GNA - The Ministry of Health has extended the sale of Admission Codes for the various Health Training Institutions for one extra week.

The sale of the Admission Codes, which supposed to end on Monday, May 29, had been extended to Monday, June 5, 2017.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Health on Friday, and copied to the Ghana News Agency.

It said the extension was to enable more people to apply since the online application had slowed down the application process as some applicants were not comfortable with the online procedure.

The statement said the cost of application forms for the 2017/2018 Academic Year has been reduced from GH¢160.00 to GH¢100.00 respectively.

'This implies that, there will be no hidden charges like the cost of verification of results and the sale of EMS Envelopes,' it said.

The statement said this year's application is done online and that the sale of Codes would be done at all the branches of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) and the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) nationwide.

The statement urged prospective applicants to follow the information on instructions in the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times, which was published earlier.
