GNA

They noted that the achievements of the government over the past four years should give the people hope to work harder to make the country a better place.

These were contained in a congratulatory message to President Kufuor and Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Vice President, on their inauguration for a second term in office.

The message signed by Awulae Attibrukusu III, President of the House and Omanhene of the Nzema East Traditional area acknowledged the success chalked in some sectors including the economy, good governance, skill training, education and general infrastructure development within the past four years.

"We, the Chiefs and people of this region have the hope and confidence in you and your administration to deliver on your promise to make Ghana a better place for all," it said.

It mentioned unemployment, low salaries and wages, pension and more incentives for farmers as some of the areas that needed priority attention.

The message also congratulated the new Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Ebenezer Sakyi-Hughes and Members of Parliament and said, "we have confidence in you to perform to the expectation of all members of the august House and indeed all Ghanaians".
