NPP Congratulates Presidential Aspirants

The New Patriotic Party wishes to congratulate the seven (7) Presidential Aspirants and all party delegates and all those who in diverse ways contributed to the successful conduct of the Special Elections, which took place last Sunday.

We are grateful to the Electoral Commission of Ghana for supervising the process as well as the Ghana Police Service for ensuring a largely peaceful election across the 11 polling centers. We also commend the media for their in depth coverage of this historic event that captured the attention of the nation.

As we prepare for the final primary in October, we urge the contestants, their assigns and spokespersons to conduct themselves with a spirit of brotherliness, decorum, mutual respect and a sense of collegiality.
