PRESS STATEMENT: CHALLENGING NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFFO ADDO ON 2OO8/2012 ELECTION MATTERS.

In the light of political development as well as matters arising in NPP, the NATIONAL FEDERATION OF NPP YOUTH, a pro-New Patriot party group would like to engage your medium on some widely held perception that H.E.Ex-President J.A Kuffuor did not do much to help our two times lost presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in 2008 presidential elections.

The National Federation of Npp Youth has taken it time to unrivalled this mystery and therefore can state with an authority that the outfit of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo intentionally kept a calculated distance from the spin of;

1. Nonsupport from Ex. President Kuffuor during the 2008 presidential elections.

2. Electoral stealing of the 2012 presidential elections by the E.C and or the NDC.

We wish to put it across that all these accusations were spins from the outfit of Nana Akuffo Addo to deceive the unsuspecting public and especially the Npp Electoral College and delegates. The object of the spins was to ensure that he Nana was given another chance to be the party's flag bearer. Nana Addo decided to keep silent even when his propaganda machinery spewed out lies he knew about. Nana Addo's reputation has always been more important than that of other human beings, Pres. Kuffuor included. As he attempts to answer our challenge, he must tell the world about the following;

1. When did he first step into the residences of Ex. pres. Kuffuor after February 2009?

2.Recently, when he went to observe the South African elections what happened, when through his agent he requested for a dinner with Ex . President Kufuor and Ex.Prez Kufuor accepted?

How did that encounter go and how does his own agent feel about him?

The challenge is for him to come out to confirm or deny whether:

1. Pres. Kuffuor did not support him for election 2008?

2. In the presence of Hon. Kan Dapaah he did not tell the Ex-president then, at Wenchi that he had taken the EC to court and that Tain election would not come on?

3. That his Election machinery did NOT concoct that president Kufuor said, his security was questionable and that the Tain election be called off; when he knew the Prez. Kufuor never said so and that the Prez. Then in spite of his in disposition at the time, had even travelled to Wenchi, en route to Tain, when he Nana Addo was cooling off in Sunyani?

4. The E.C or the NDC really stole the election 2012 and if they did as he wants us to believe, whether he as a leader can ever be trusted to take care of our fortunes?

5. That he must not be made to account for the whereabouts of the Hundred Pick-ups bought for the last elections alone?

The purchases for the 2008 elections were similarly shrouded in the same secrecy were used for agenda Nana Addo.

6. He must not be made to account for the custody of some Eight (8) V8 land cruisers bought for the party?

As youth, and leader of tomorrow, we wish to make it clear that we can no longer entertain the galore of mischief that has taken over the psyche of our Great Old Party!

Neither are we going to accept to be pawns of somebody's ego trip.

We are of the view that the truth, bitter though must be up held at all times, and especially so in the Great Party.
