Ghanaians abroad 13-15 December 2013: Jonathan Mensah scores

Over the weekend, Ghanaian players were in action as usual across the world.

Michael Essien got his first 90 minutes in the Premier League season, whilst there was a rare goal for Jonathan Mensah in France.

Usual suspects Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Osei Banahene were also on target, as was Greece-based midfielder Aziz Tetteh

In the Premier League, Michael Essien was booked in the 58th minute and played the full match as Chelsea beat Crystal Palace.

In the Championship, Jeffrey Schlupp replaced Jamie Vardy seven minutes from time as Leicester City drew 1-1 with Burnley.

Albert Adomah played the full match as Middlesbough lost 0-1 to Brighton.
