Reports reaching RadioXYZonline.com indicate that the police personnel have clashed with residents near the La Paz side of the N1 Highway.
According to the residents, the commotion started after a young girl who was going to school was knocked down by an over speeding vehicle on that section of the road.
The girl, a nine-year-old twin, is a known face in the neighbourhood and this infuriated the residents who have blocked that section of the road to exact justice.
The police have fired warning shots to disperse the angry crowd but the defiant irate crowd wont budge.
Jeffrey, an eyewitness told XYZ News people are running helter skelter as the police intensify their operation to disperse the mob.
