Ashanti Region: Dad THREATENS GAY SON WITH DEATH

Homosexuality is illegal according to the constitution of the Republic of Ghana and is criminalised .What would a father attempt to poison a son because he is gay.

Information reaching OMG Ghana news indicates that, Mr. S.O. Frimpong of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region who had knew his son, Kofi Frimpong would be a gay man, he would have killed him at delivery. The entire community is shocked of the news.

The 24 year old Kofi Frimpong who is confirmed to be a gayman and a member of secret cult in Ghana that used to have their meetings in secret places in Jamestown and Adabraka respectively, had gone missing and his whereabouts is currently unknown.

It would be recalled that on March 2012, the youth of Jamestown assaulted LGBT people in Accra and raided a party, assaulted the lesbians and gays in sight with bottles, knife and cutlasses.

Sources revealed that, Kofi Frimpong was exposed to the family after a conference he attended in Geneva, Switzerland early this year.

On 25th October, 2012, sources close to the family told the paper that, Mr. S.O Frimpong was mad of the son sexual orientation and threatened to eliminate him to end the shame and curse his actions could bring on the family.

On a telephone interview with the spokesperson of the family in Kumasi,luck eluded Kofi Frimpong when his food for that evening was poison. As to who poisoned the food that faithful day is still unknown. The source also confirmed the parents are facing suspension from church because of the son.

This incident occurred on 25th March, 2012 after the father had expressed he will not allow this abomination to happen in the family and resort to eliminating him. This made Kofi Frimpong feared for his life.

After the father's death attempt on 25th March 2012,Kofi Frimpong vanished from the house and he is nowhere to be found.All efforts to reach him has proved futile but information shows he is out of town and probably hiding.A report has been lodged at Kumasi Central Police Station according to the elder sister of Kofi Frimpong.

When contacted,Mr. Frimpong confirmed the story and reiterated that because his son had decided to live a life which the family cannot accommodate, henceforth the family has no place for him and his evil acts, he hanged up the phone.

An eyewitness, who spoke to the paper on the condition of anonymity, confirmed that the father burnt down the clothes of Kofi Frimpong on October 20, 2012 at their Suame residence in Kumasi.

When contacted again, Mr. Frimpong who cannot control his anger insisted if his son wants his life, he should stop his homosexuality acts or he will find any means to stop him or put him in jail.

Our investigations reveal that Kofi Frimpong used to work with a youth organisation (name withheld) in Accra before he vanished from town and also a survival of Jamestown assault on gays and lesbians recently. Homosexuality is criminalised in 76 countries across the world including Ghana. The UK Government last year warned countries receiving aid from United Kingdom to respect gay rights or have their aid being cuts but, the then President Mills vowed to eliminate homosexuality disregarding the threats.
