Two School Projects Inaugurated at Atwima-Mim, and Asakraka

Two school blocks constructed under the Ghana Education Service (GES) “Schools Under Trees” Project for the people of Atwima-Mim and Asakraka in the Atwima Nwabiagya District at a cost of GH¢375,14.90 have been inaugurated at separate ceremonies.
Mr. Thomas Ofori-Donkor, Atwima Nwabiagya District Chief Executive who performed the ceremonies, said the district assembly had in collaboration with hard working and active communities been able to construct 17 classroom blocks with their share of the District Assemblies Common Fund.
He said since the beginning of 2007/2008 academic year, the assembly had also procured 1,400 dual desks and 1,500 mono desks and distributed them to needy schools.
