Joana Gyan donates GHc15,000 to support 2023/24 Season Amenfi Central DFA Colt League

Madam Joana Gyan, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Amenfi Central constituency in the Western Region, has extended her support to the Amenfi Central District Football Association with a donation of GHc15,000 to facilitate the organization of the 2023/2024 Colts League.

Scheduled to take place from April 15 to 21, 2024, at the Wassa Nkakaa Town Park, the Colts League aims to provide a platform for nurturing and grooming children with a passion for sports in the constituency. Madam Joana Gyan emphasized the importance of supporting and developing the talents of young individuals, contributing to the emergence of skilled and talented children within the community.

Her gesture also aims to identify children with exceptional talents and provide them with the necessary support to mould and secure their future in sports.

Mr. David Umiker Quarm, affectionately known as 'Boys Boys', Chairman of the District Football Association, expressed gratitude to Madam Joana Gyan for her continuous support towards the development of the FA, Amenfiman, the Western Region, and Ghana as a whole. He acknowledged that her donation will significantly contribute to the success of the association's programs.

Mr. Quarm reiterated the association's commitment to nurturing sporting talent within the district and ensuring that individuals passionate about sports realize their full potential. He urged schools and communities to actively participate in the Colts League and emphasized the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations governing the competition.
