In a bold declaration of confidence, Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye Danquah, has expressed unwavering certainty in Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia's imminent victory in the 2024 presidential election, even going as far as suggesting he would wager his house or life on the outcome.

During a live interview with Kofi Marfo (Sir Richie) on Rainbow Radio 92.4 FM in London, Danquah emphasized the critical need for visionary leadership in Ghana, highlighting Dr. Bawumia's commitment to accelerating digitalization and embracing technological advancements as essential for the country's progress.

Asserting his confidence in Dr. Bawumia's candidacy, Danquah predicted that the 2024 elections would be a decisive moment for Ghana, characterized by a comparison between Dr. Bawumia's transformative agenda and the leadership style of main opposition leader John Dramani Mahama.

Danquah lauded Dr. Bawumia's track record in spearheading digital transformation initiatives, citing achievements such as Ghana.gov payment options, mobile money interoperability, and GhanaPost GPS as evidence of his leadership prowess in the digital sphere.

Addressing concerns about the slow progress in the investigation into the murder of his uncle, former MP for Abuakwa North Joseph Boakye-Dankwah, Danquah acknowledged the challenges within the justice system but expressed confidence in the Inspector General of Police to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Currently on a brief hiatus in London following the NPP parliamentary primaries, Danquah remains resolute in his support for Dr. Bawumia's candidacy, despite his own recent political endeavors.

In the parliamentary primaries, Danquah contested against the incumbent MP Gifty Twum-Ampofo and two other candidates, Nana Ampaw Addo-Frimpong and Nana Kwame Mamfe, where he lost to the incumbent.
