Prominent Ghanaian musician and political activist Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has told President Nana Akufo-Addo that he will one day bitterly regret burning bridges during his tenure.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, February 1, marking the birthday of former Electoral Commission chair Charlotte Osei, A Plus said Akufo-Addo sacked the former EC boss without any cause and will one day look back with regret.

"The day you leave office, you'll sit back, relax and bite your fingers as you count the bridge you burn," A Plus wrote to the President.

He questioned how Akufo-Addo could sack Charlotte Osei, who oversaw the peaceful election that brought him to power in 2016, without any service benefits or compensation.

"Take a look at everything that has happened under your watch, especially your appointees who have engaged in various misconducts but you cleared, and tell me if Charlotte Osei deserved to be treated the way you did," A Plus intimated.

The musician-turned-politician, who has been a vocal critic of Akufo-Addo, said the President is leaving power soon and will be left with only a "few of us" who supported him during difficult times.

"If you don't correct some of these things, one day, you will remember that karma is from Kyebi!" A Plus warned.
