Ahead of the NPP presidential primaries, former Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten has launched a donation platform dubbed 'Ketewa Bia Nsuato' in order to raise funds from his enthused supporters for his campaign activities.

The donation platform was successfully launched on Thursday, June 8, at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).

The app aimed at raising funding for the Alan for President campaign, was launched in the presence of a fill-up audience at the main auditorium of the AICC including, sitting and former MPs, current and former government officials, as well a section of supporters.

Speaking at the launch, he stated that, the campaign needs a lot of financial support to run the activities of campaigns.

He indicated that mobilisation plays a vital role therefore it was crucial for him to start now which compelled him to leave his ministerial position to work towards his flagbearership position.

He emphasised that using government resources to run campaigns is inappropriate as he charged other contenders using state resources to finance their campaigns to stop and allow for a fair contest.

The audiences were taken through the processes of using the various donation platforms to support Mr. Kyerematen's campaign activities with as little as GHS1.

One can contribute to the campaign by using *713*242# or downloading the app from the play store or apple store to donate.
