Bawku Protracted Conflict

Bawku Protracted Conflict
16.02.2023 LISTEN

It is an undeniable fact that the Bawku protracted conflict, has some kind of partisan undertones. Hence, I would like to appeal to the Ruling Government, to ask the Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference, to take charge of the resolution of the said conflict.

The GCBC can always call upon conflict resolution experts, to assist it. The mentality behind asking the Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference, to be in- charge of the resolution of the said conflict, should not be, 'do it and let's see mentality', NO!

The mentality and intention should be, tapping the vast experience and knowledge of the GCBC, as well as the great respect that many have for it, for the good of the people in Bawku and Ghana as a whole.

I am proposing the Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference, to be in - charge of the resolution of the protracted conflict because, it has what it takes to help bring lasting peace and stability to Bawku land.

What the GCBC needs are, the necessary logistics from the Ruling Government and prayerful support from all Ghanaians, especially, the Catholic Priests and the celebration of the HOLY MASS.

If my appeal gets a listening ear and acceptance, I would like to appeal to the GCBC to keep an eagle eye on the recommendations that it will send to the Ruling Government, and do the necessary follow ups, so that their toil and sweat do not be in vain.

I would like to appeal to any Ruling Government, not to hesitate in asking the GCBC for assistance, especially, in times of national challenges because, the said Conference is an Access and Blessings to Ghana.
