NPP Spain Branch Wishes President Akufo-Addo

The New Patriotic Party, Spain branch takes the pleasure to wish President Nana Akufo-Addo a happy birthday and many prosperous years ahead.

The branch is proud to be part of the distinguished life and political pursuits of President Nana Akufo-Addo. He has dedicated decades of his life to serve and fight for the wellbeing of the Ghanaian people. His contribution to the development of our democracy is remarkable. We thank you for everything you have done for our country, Mother Ghana. We thank God for your life. We thank you for the policies and programs you continue to pursue for Ghana.

The President is truly an exemplary leader for future generations who wish to follow the world of politics. Not only do you seamlessly adapt to address the emerging challenges from the persistent ones that we face in our country today, but always striving to make things better with new approaches and such unfaltering determination. We believe that during your second term, your excellency, we will see a transformed Ghana.

We also welcome you to Spain, over the years, the Kingdom of Spain considers itself a bi-continental country. Spain wants to lead efforts towards greater closeness to Africa through businesses, Universities and NGO’s. So to channel the knowledge and investments that countries in Africa need for their development. Developments such as renewable energies, infrastructure & urban development, sustainable tourism, water etc. ‘’Strategic Objectives 2018- 2021 support the processes of the 2030 Agenda and those of economic growth shared Promote Casa Africa and the Canary Islands as a point of meeting between Africa and Spain Encourage the creation of networks. Support the processes of the Agenda 2030 and the growth shared an economic processes of the 2030 Agenda (OE 1.1)’’

As an entity of Public Diplomacy and Gestor of international relations, and concrete mind of the Hispanic-African relations, House Africa will take as its main reference their action the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda, as due to its relevance for the development of neighbouring continent as well as one's own country. For definition, the objectives of the Agenda are all challenges of a transnational nature that lend themselves to multi-party collaborations with a clear focus on the construction of a better world. Also, in its Objective 17 the need to create alliances for its fulfilment, a central axis of the action of the Public Diplomacy of Africa House. The founding values of Casa Africa are also aligned with what stated in its paragraph 36 with reference promoting understanding between different cultures, mutual respect and responsibility’’.
